Cheektowaga, N.Y. (WBEN) - Holiday Twin Rinks will reopen Monday following another carbon monoxide scare that happened over the weekend.

A parent told Channel 4 that carbon monoxide alarms sounded for several minutes on Saturday, leading to the rinks to be closed for safety purposes.

According to a post on Holiday & Leisure Rinks' Facebook page, a recently repaired Olympia Ice Resurfacer had emissions issues that led to the alarms going off.

Following a series of tests on Sunday, Holiday Twin Rinks say there were no further issues with the resurfacers.

Holiday Twin Rinks say they have also ordered two new electric ice resurfacers and are awaiting delivery of those machines.
