
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A 26-year-old man is dead following a wrong way accident on the Kensington Expressway (Rte. 33) on Sunday night.
According to the Buffalo Police Department, a Nissan Altima was traveling the wrong way in the Eastbound lane near the Grider Street exit just after 9:30 p.m. ET when it struck another vehicle head-on.
The male driver of the Altima was transported by ambulance to Erie County Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries. He has been identified as Grant Beyer of Williamsville.
The two occupants in the other vehicle were transported by ambulance to ECMC to be treated for apparent non-life threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation by Buffalo Police.
