NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot in the chest at a Washington Heights NYCHA complex Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The teenager was hit once in the chest around 3:55 p.m. at the Polo Ground Towers.
Emergency responders rushed him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are still searching for the shooter, who officials said was wearing blue clothes.
