NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- More human remains were found early Thursday morning at a Bronx sewage facility, hours after a similar grisly discovery there Wednesday prompted an investigation.

A second human leg was found around 12 a.m. Thursday at the city Department of Environmental Protection’s Hunts Point Water Pollution Control Plant on Ryawa Avenue.

On Wednesday morning, workers found a human leg during routine sewage screening at the facility. Sources described the remains as a human leg from the knee down with a foot attached, possibly belonging to a child.

It wasn't immediately clear if the legs are believed to be from the same person.

No arrests have been reported as the investigation continues.

The medical examiner is working the case and will make further determinations, police said.
