NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 63-year-old man has died months after he was struck by a hit-and-run Mercedes-Benz driver in Inwood early on Christmas Eve, police said Thursday.
Felix Rosario Acosta was struck around 5:40 a.m. on Dec. 24 by a black Mercedes while crossing Nagle Avenue and Arden Street.
The driver was traveling east on Nagle Avenue when he struck Acosta, didn't stop and fled the scene, according to police.
Acosta, of White Plains, was rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in critical condition. Cops said he died on Oct. 22.
