
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a man wanted for striking a man with a wrench in an unprovoked attack aboard a Bronx subway train last week, authorities said.
Just before 8:30 p.m. on Monday, May 30, a 53-year-old man onboard a D train at the 167th subway station in concourse was approached by the suspect, officials said.

According to police, the suspect displayed a wrench and struck the victim in the hand, causing a laceration before he fled the station on foot to parts unknown.
EMS transported the victim to BronxCare Hospital in stable condition.
