NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man trashed a Brooklyn yoga studio and drew a swastika and Nazi reference on a chalkboard in a suspected hate crime, police said Friday.

The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspect they're searching for in last Tuesday's break-in at Yoga Hell on East 17th Street in Sheepshead Bay.

Footage shows a bald man entering the yoga studio through an unlocked door after someone exited around 11:30 a.m., police said.

Once inside, he caused extensive damage and damaged religious items, including a mezuzah.

He also scrawled a swastika on the chalkboard and wrote, "Nazi punk f*** off."

Yoga Hell owner Katia Riva told 1010 WINS that one of her teachers walked into the studio before class and found the place trashed with the swastika on the chalkboard.

"Everything was kind of upside down," Riva said. "She discovered detergent and soap on the floor."

"I can't imagine anybody doing something like that just because they don't like me," she said. "Maybe I have people who hate me, I have no idea."
