BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old New Jersey man was arrested Monday and charged with sexually assaulting a child between the ages of 4 and 11 multiple times, authorities said Wednesday.
The North Bergen man, Eddy Chocoj, was charged with four counts of second-degree sexual assault, and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
Fairview Police contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office on Nov. 9 with a report that a child had been sexually assaulted. After an investigation, Chocoj was arrested in Paramus.
Chocoj is being held at Bergen County Jail awaiting his first court appearance.
