NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 77-year-old man was punched to the ground and kicked in the face on a Bronx street this week by a suspect who remains at large, police said Wednesday.
The victim and his attacker got into a dispute around 1:30 p.m. Monday near E. 169th Street and the Grand Concourse in the Mount Eden section.
Police said the dispute escalated and the man punched the victim in his face, knocking him to the ground.
As the victim lay on the sidewalk, the man threw a liquid-filled cup at his head and then kicked him in the face, police said.

Video shows the victim struggling on the ground with his cane as he’s kicked in the face.
The victim told police that the man tried to steal his property but ultimately fled empty-handed.

The victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was in stable condition.
