Minnesota's fifth district Congresswoman Ilhan Omar wants the US House of Representatives to take action against Representative Lauren Boebert.

The Colorado Republican recently used anti-Muslim language in a recent encounter she had with Omar.

According to a video clip posted by a Twitter account called PatriotTakes, Boebert made the remarks at a meeting with constituents this holiday break, using the term 'jihad squad' to refer to Omar.

She also said Omar wasn't "wearing a backpack," an allusion to suicide bombers.

Boebert tweeted an apology, saying she was sorry for offending anyone in the Muslim community.

Omar claims the encounter didn't happen, saying Boebert's suggestion that the Minnesota Democrat was a suicide bomber was no laughing matter.
