The Oregon Ducks Pro Day kicks off today in Eugene — with draft prospect quarterback Bo Nix holding a throwing session.

Notably, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss, Patriots quarterbacks coach T.C. McCartney and college scouting director Camren Williams are among a New England contingent on site.

The Patriots hold the No. 3 overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft and with Mac Jones being traded to Jacksonville on Sunday and the team signing veteran Jacoby Brissett on Monday, it’s expected that they’ll address the quarterback position through the draft in late April.

Nix, who threw for 4,508 yards and 45 touchdowns in 2023 while finishing third in the Heisman Trophy voting behind Jayden Daniels and Michael Penix Jr., is widely considered among the second tier of quarterback prospects in this year's class. He’s projected to be a second-round pick.
