It took just under a week, but the Patriots are finally on the board with a free agent wide receiver.

According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, New England is signing former Vikings pass catcher K.J. Osborn. It's a one-year deal, per ESPN's Mike Reiss.

Osborn (5-foot-11, 210 pounds) was drafted by Minnesota out of the University of Miami in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Through three seasons, he's totaled 158 catches, 1,845 yards, and 15 touchdowns. Osborn is 26-years-old.

The former Hurricane joins a Patriots wide receiver room of JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kendrick Bourne, Tyquan Thornton, DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, and Jalen Reagor. The team designated DeVante Parker for release last Wednesday. He has since agreed to terms with the Philadelphia Eagles.
