Bills general manager Brandon Beane was on-hand Wednesday to speak with the assembled media and spoke for more than 40 minutes on a number of different topics.

With the draft fast approaching, Beane is getting his final preparations in place to make the selections of eight new players to the roster. But with the 25th overall pick in the first round of the draft on April 28, could the Bills be looking to add a running back to go along with the likes of Devin Singletary, Zack Moss and newly signed Duke Johnson?

"If there's a player that I think is dynamic enough - as a running back - can add an element to our offense this year, next year, whenever, we would still take them," Beane said.

Beane says he's also not against moving around in the draft, whether that'd be trading up to get a player they really desire, or trade down to acquire more draft capital.

"Yeah, I would look at both," he said. "Depending on who the player is, and what am I giving up, what's it going to cost me."

Aside from the draft, the Bills general manager has also been very busy this offseason making player moves. Some of the prominent moves include the signing of free agent pass rusher Von Miller, tight end O.J. Howard, as well as bringing back defensive linemen Shaq Lawson and Jordan Phillips.

While it's still likely for more activity to happen league-wide in an already crazy offseason, things could start to really quiet down for the Bills once the draft comes and goes next weekend.

"We don't feel like we've got to get this or we've got to get that. We've tried to, we're still out there looking. We're 90% focused on the draft, but we're definitely still talking to players."
