Bills get Joey Bosa back Sunday against Patriots

Christian Benford's status was undetermined as of Friday morning

Orchard Park, N.Y. (WGR Sports Radio 550) - After missing last Sunday's win over the Cincinnati Bengals with a hamstring injury, Buffalo Bills defensive end Joey Bosa will return to the lineup on Sunday when the team travels to New England to take on the Patriots at Gillette Stadium.

During his weekly appearane on the "Extra Point Show" on WGR, Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Bosa, as well as right tackle Spencer Brown - who missed the last two games with a shoulder injury - are good to go for the contest.

Linebacker Terrel Bernard (elbow) and wide receiver Joshua Palmer (ankle) are questionable for the game.

At the time of the radio appearance, McDermott said the team was still in the process of evaluating Christian Benford's toe injury that occurred at practice on Thursday. Benford was seen wearing a walking shoe in the locker room after practice on Thursday.

While meeting with the local media after that radio appearance, McDermott said he did not believe Benford's toe injury would be long-term. Jonathan Acosta of WGRZ-TV captured video of Benford at practice on Friday. The cornerback was no longer wearing a walking shoe.

Benford is officially listed as questionable to play in the contest, being the only other injury designation on the final injury report for the week on Friday.
