Buffalo, N.Y. (WGR 550) – As was expected on Monday, the injury news for the Buffalo Bills was not promising following Sunday's 25-20 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
According to Bills head coach Sean McDermott during his weekly Zoom call with the media on Monday, both linebacker Matt Milano and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones will require surgery to address significant injuries sustained Sunday, and are out of the Buffalo lineup indefinitely.
Reports after Sunday's game in London indicated Milano had suffered not just a fractured right leg early in the first quarter of Sunday's loss, but also a knee injury that was likely season-ending.
As for Jones, he was also injured during the first quarter of play, injuring his right pectoral muscle after attempting to make a tackle of running back Travis Etienne.
While both injuries are considered long-term, McDermott did not clarify whether either players are considered as done for the season.
