While the weather didn't make things easy, the Bills did enough offensively, while the defense did their part to shut down the Jets in a 20-12 victory.

With the win, the Bills improved to 10-3 on the season, which cements their hold on first place in the AFC East, along with keeping the team in first in the overall AFC standings.

Following two divisional losses to the Jets and Miami Dolphins earlier this season, the Bills are now 2-2 in divisional play to add on to last week's win over the New England Patriots.

Following Sunday's win, Bills head coach Sean McDermott spoke highly of his team's ability to step up during its four-game winning streak.

"It's important that we compliment each other, not just offensively and defensively and special teams, but also within our offense," said McDermott during his postgame commentary with the media. "Different guys are stepping up, and when their number's called, your expected to make a play."

One of the problems the Bills have had this season is the ability to control the end of close games. This game was no different, as the Bills had multiple opportunities to put the game away against the Jets. McDermott can see the issues with the ability to close out game, and knows it will need to be addressed going forward.

"Whether it's the punt team in that situation or the offense making sure we can put the game away, again, that starts with me putting them in position and just being fundamentally better in those situations," McDermott said. "It's important that we continue to grow in that area, for sure."
