Pittsford, N.Y. (WGR 550) - Following a rocky start to the 2023 PGA Championship at Oak Hill Country Club, Brooks Koepka was quite flawless in his final 54 holes of golf, helping him to his third-career Wanamaker Trophy.
Koepka finished the 105th PGA Championship atop the leaderboard at 9-under par which was two shots better than both Scottie Scheffler and Viktor Hovland at 7-under par.
After shooting an impressive 4-under par on Saturday in challenging weather conditions, Koepka was able to hold his lead throughout the final round on Sunday, finishing the day at 3-under par.

Not only is this Koepka's third PGA Championship title, it is also his fifth-career major golf title, with the other two major wins coming at the U.S. Open in 2017 and 2018. It is also his first major golf win since the 2019 PGA Championship at Bethpage State Park Black Course.
While Koepka's weekend in Rochester was a memorable one, arguably, one of the best stories from this year's PGA Championship and in golf was Michael Block. Block entered the 2023 PGA Championship as a PGA club pro, and happened to finish the tournament in a tie for 15th place at 1-over par.
With his top-20 finish at Oak Hill, it was good enough to earn him a spot in next year's PGA Championship at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.
However, it was Block's shot on the 15th hole in his final round that may be one of the better golf shots anyone will see for years to come. While golfing in a pairing with Rory McIlroy, Block's tee shot off the 15th hole managed to land straight in the cup for an ace on the par-3.
