DETROIT (WWJ) -- An investigation is underway involving the fatal shooting of a 12-year-old in Detroit.
According to Detroit Police, the incident happened on Detroit’s east side on Rochelle Street near Hayes and Kelly roads.
Three young children had reportedly discovered a loaded gun in the home, which then fired and struck the 12-year-old, who died from their injuries.
Police are still investigating the incident and further details have not yet been released.
