**UPDATE 5/6 — Body found in lake identified as Pontiac man missing since December

PONTIAC (WWJ) -- Authorities are asking for help in the search for a 31-year-old Oakland County man who has been missing since last year.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office and Crime Stoppers on Wednesday announced $2,500 reward for the tip that leads to the location of Ryan Patrick Pitts of Pontiac.

The sheriff's office said Pitts' family reported him missing in January, and said they had not seen or heard from his since December of 2021.

Pitts is described as 6' tall and weighing 170 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.
