Car speeding at 100 mph crashes in I-94 construction zone

A car traveling at a high rate of speed flipped after crashing in a construction zone on I-94 yesterday.

The crash happened in the westbound lanes of the freeway near Van Dyke in Detroit.

The Dodge Challenger allegedly hit speeds of more than 100 mph before crashing into a Chevy Malibu. The Challenger then hit a utility pole and rolled over.

The driver was transported to the hospital with injuries. People in the Malibu were not seriously hurt. The crash remains under investigation.
