DETROIT (WWJ) -- One month after a man was murdered on Detroit's west side, investigators are still searching for his killer.
The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the gunman who fled the scene in a gold pickup truck after he shot and killed a man on Jan. 19, 2022.
Surveillance video from the scene shows the suspect drive up to a building in the 15700 block of Wyoming, north of I-94, before going inside.
Moments later, the suspect ran out of the building, firing several shots toward the victim, fatally wounding him, police said.
The suspect then got back into the gold pickup and drove away.
On Friday, police released video of the gunman, asking the the public for tips on the case.
Anyone who can ID the wanted man, or who has any information about this crime, is asked to call DPD homicide investigators at 313-596-2260 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak-Up (1-800-773-2587). Tipsters will remain anonymous.
