ALPENA COUNTY (WWJ) -- A Macomb County woman who had just gotten married in June has tragically died after an off-road crash in northern Michigan.

Michigan State Police say 30-year old Chelsea Meldrum of Harrison Township was driving a Jeep Wrangler that went off a two-track path, hit a stump and flipped over on Sunday morning near Alpena.

Two passengers in the Jeep were treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital. One other passenger wasn't hurt in the crash.

Michigan State Police are continuing to investigate the situation.
