DETROIT (WWJ) – Investigations are underway after three early-morning shootings in Detroit on Sunday.

The separate shootings left three men injured in three different neighborhoods, Detroit police officials told WWJ.

The first shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. near East Grand Boulevard and Mack Avenue on the city’s east side. Officials say a man was found shot on a porch, but it was not immediately clear what prompted the shooting.

The victim was said to be in stable condition Sunday afternoon.

About an hour after the first shooting, a man was found shot in an alley in the 18000 block of Cherrylawn Street, near McNichols and Wyoming on the west side.

There’s no word on that victim’s condition.

In the third incident, a man called police around 6 a.m. to report he had been shot on Ilene Street near Wyoming and Lyndon Street.

EMS personnel took him to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition Sunday afternoon.

Authorities did not release the ages of any of the victims and a motive for each shooting remains unclear.

No suspects have been identified.
