
TRENTON, Mich. (WWJ) – An investigation is underway after a man’s body was pulled from the Detroit River in Trenton on Christmas night.
Authorities have not yet identified the victim, but say a small SUV was submerged in the river.
Divers recovered the man and the vehicle from the water near Riverside Drive in Trenton, between Cherry and Atwood Streets around 9 p.m. Saturday.
It was not clear what led to the SUV plunging into the river or when that occurred.
Police have not released any further details.
