(WWJ) Gas prices are down just a bit in Michigan this week.

But that doesn't mean overly much with the statewide average still well over $4 a gallon, frustrating drivers who cringe as they fill up their tanks.

So, what should be done about it?

The subject of cutting taxes paid at the pump is "convoluted and complex" a lawmaker admits, but relief could be coming if Republicans and Democrats in Lansing can find some middle ground.
