
EASTPOINTE, Mich. (WWJ) – The search is on for a suspect who is wanted in connection with a double shooting in Eastpointe that left one person dead and another in critical condition.
Police have released little detail about the incident, but said a man was fatally shot and a woman was wounded at an apartment building in the area of 10 Mile Road and Gratiot Avenue at around 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The man was found outside the building, while the woman was inside an apartment.
She was taken to a hospital. The victims' identities have not been released.
Officials say 60-year-old Dennis Evans is a suspect in a double shooting He may be driving a black 2019 KIA Optima with Michigan License plate EBH5813.

Police say he should not be approached because he is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Investigators believe the shooting may have stemmed from some sort of domestic dispute.
The shooting investigation left 10 Mile closed for about three hours, but it has since reopened.
