
DETROIT (WWJ) -- Detroit police are hoping someone in the public can help them to identify and locate a man they want to talk to about a deadly triple shooting on the city's west side,
Shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, police said the three victims were in a blue Buick Regal in the 11700 block of Lauder, in the area of Hubbell Ave. and Plymouth Rd.
When shots rang out, a 21-year-old man in that car was fatally wounded, police said.
The two other victims, a 22-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man, were wounded by the gunfire and were taken to a hospital for treatment.

The suspect fled the scene in a black Dodge Charger (pictured), and police have not been able to locate him.
Detectives now say they would like to speak to a man they are calling a "person-of-interest" in the shooting -- was caught on camera near the location at the time of the incident.
