(WWJ) An Eastpointe man is jailed on a $50,000 bond, after police say he flashed some children at a local park.

Martin Wade Haskins, 63, was arrested Tuesday night, following the alleged incident at Kennedy Park in Eastpointe.

Eastpointe Police said officers were called to the park on a report of a man in his 50s or 60s who was exposing himself to two young girls.

When police arrived, the suspect — who was later identified as Haskins — drove away in his tan Chrysler LHS.

Investigators were able find out where Haskins lived and he was later arrested at his home without incident.

Following the arrest, officers obtained search warrants for his house and vehicle where evidence was seized.

Police noted that Haskins has a history of this type of criminal behavior and is a registered sex offender in Michigan.

Michigan Department of Corrections records shows Haskins has served prison time for criminal sexual conduct and indecent exposure convictions in Oakland County, dating back to 1992.

Haskins was arraigned in the 38th District Court in Eastpointe on two felony counts of Children - Accosting for Immoral Purposes, and two misdemeanor counts of Aggravated Indecent Exposure.

He faces more then a decade in prison if convicted as charged.
