
(WWJ) With up to 6-10 inches of snow in the forecast into Tuesday morning, a number of cities across metro Detroit are declaring snow emergencies.
All vehicles must be removed from the streets to make room for snow plows. Residents who do not comply may face a fine.
The following communities have declared snow emergencies, with the number expected to grow.
Auburn Hills
Monday 10 p.m. until further notice
Belleville
7 p.m. Monday-7 p.m. Tuesday
Bloomfield Township
Cars must be removed from the street by 6 p.m., per the Police Department. Those who do not comply could face $100 fine.
Brownstown Township
5 p.m. Monday until further notice
Canton
6 p.m. Monday until further notice
Dearborn
10 p.m. Monday until further notice
Detroit
6 p.m. until further notice
Flat Rock
8 p.m Monday-8 a.m. Wednesday
Farmington
6 p.m. Monday until further notice
All vehicles not removed from the street by 6 a.m. Tuesday may be towed, or owners could face a fine.
Fraser
6 p.m. Monday-8 a.m. Wednesday
Garden City
9 p.m. Monday until further notice
Gibraltar
3 p.m. Monday-6 p.m. Tuesday
Harper Woods
6 p.m. Monday until 48 hours after it stops snowing

Accuweather's Dean Devore said travel is expected to be "treacherous" over the next day or so. Temperatures will hit a high of 18, but it will feel like the single digits.
The Oakland County Road Commission said it may take days to clear the roads of snow and ice with the cold temperatures complicating the clean up process.
