Southfield Police looking for masked gunmen involved in carjacking and shooting

Southfield (WWJ) -- Southfield Police are searching for two masked gunmen involved in a reported shooting and carjacking that happened around 10 p.m. on Monday.

According to authorities, the suspects shot at a man several times at a business near Southfield Road and W. Lincoln Street, then proceeded to carjack him and drive off in his car.

The victim is in stable condition at a local hospital, but sustained gunshot wounds to his hand, forearm and back, said police.

The suspects are described by police as younger Black males wearing ski masks.

The victim’s car is a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Michigan license plate DFC 9615, according to police.
