(WWJ) --When searching for a place to call home, Michigan certainly has its fair share of desirable cities.
But there’s one zip code that apparently ranks above the rest in price range and affluence.
Holland, MI, which is located on the shore of Lake Macatawa about 30 minutes outside of Grand Rapids, offers up the charms of a small beach town while also featuring all the amenities of a major metropolitan area.
According to a study done using Zillow Home Value Index in September of 2020 (via Newsweek), the Ottawa County zip code of 49434 has an average home price of $802,334.
For comparison, Michigan’s average home price is listed in the study at $178,172.
