LSU finished up its Spring practices Saturday with the National L Club Spring Game.

This spring saw several position battles take place, including at quarterback where Max Johnson, Myles Brennan, TJ Finley and Garrett Nussmeier are vying to become LSU’s starter this Fall.

Each quarterback played two quarters, one with each team, in the spring game, and had a chance to make a case for the top spot on the depth chart.

Here’s how LSU’s QBs stacked up in Saturday’s scrimmage:

Max Johnson
Stats: 11-17, 180 yards, two touchdowns

Johnson started the game and led the White team offense to a field goal in his three first quarter drives.  He was a perfect 7-of-7 for 120 yards and two touchdowns in the third quarter.

Myles Brennan
Stats: 12-20, 116 yards, one touchdown

Brennan led the White team offense on three straight scoring drives in the second quarter including one that ended with an impressive touchdown pass to Kayshon Boutte.

TJ Finley
Stats: 10-19, 84 yards, three interceptions
Finley was the only LSU quarterback who was not sacked Saturday. He completed over 50 percent of his passes.

Garrett Nussmeier
Stats: 15-25, 132 yards, one touchdown, three interceptions

The early enrollee finished the scrimmage with an eight-play, 70-yard drive that ended with a touchdown pass to Koy Moore.
