The Senior Bowl is Saturday, and former LSU Tiger receiver Chris Hilton will compete in his fourth all-star game.

Hilton has reportedly set a record by competing in four different all-star games that are part of the pre-draft process. He participated in the American Bowl, the Hula Bowl, the East-West Shrine Game and he is a late addition to the Senior Bowl.

Hilton only caught ten passes during his senior season at LSU, so he’s racking up the frequent flyer miles to impress NFL scouts.

“You got one shot,” Hilton said. “That has been my motto, along with God got this in 2026. I didn’t have the (senior) season I wanted to, so competing in all four games was the main goal.”

Hilton was a four-star prospect coming out of Zachary High School. He was also a track star, and he showed off that speed in the 2018 Class 5A state championship game. Hilton caught a screen pass and raced 80 yards for a touchdown as the Broncos beat West Monroe in the final minutes.

NFL teams must be impressed with his speed, but durability and his hands must be questioned.

Hilton battled several injuries while at LSU and finished with 41 catches for 780 yards and six touchdowns in five seasons.

There were flashes. The two touchdown catches against Oklahoma in the 2024 regular season finale and his performance in the Texas Bowl a month later, as he caught four passes for 113 yards and one touchdown against Baylor.

“Nobody can mess with me when I’m at my best,” Hilton said.

But in 2025, Hilton slid down the depth chart and never was a factor for an offense that needed a big play receiver.

Hilton averaged 19 yards a catch during his LSU career.

Hilton is on the National roster, while former LSU Q-B Garrett Nussmeier, along with former Tiger receivers Barion Brown and Aaron Anderson are on the American roster.

The Senior Bowl is at 1:30 on the NFL Network.
