The LSU Tiger Baseball Team is leaving for Omaha and the College World Series on Wednesday, and university officials want you there to help send them off.
According to the LSU Tigers website, the send-off will take place Wednesday morning at 9 a.m. outside Alex Box Stadium near Gate 1. The website advises fans who will be traveling from out of town to the Baton Rouge campus to park in the Hall of Fame lot on the third base side of the stadium.
LSU swept Kentucky in the Baton Rouge Super Regional to punch the team's first ticket to the College World Series since 2017. The Tigers will face SEC rival Tennessee in their opening-round game on Saturday at 6 p.m. That game will be broadcast on WWL. The Tigers' second game in the CWS will take place Monday against either Wake Forest or Stanford.
