Odell Beckham Jr. is set to go on waivers Monday, but the disgruntled wide receiver does not just want to go to any team.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Beckham wants to join a playoff contender and winning culture. If he is claimed by a team that does not fit into those categories, there could potentially be issues for that team.

What that means, exactly, is still unclear.
The problem with Beckham’s demands is that he is due $7.25 million remaining on his contract and only nine teams can fit his salary under the cap — the Jacksonville Jaguars, Philadelphia Eagles, Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers, Los Angeles Chargers, Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Football Team.
Of those nine teams, only the Bengals, Steelers and Chargers have winning records while the Panthers and Broncos both entered Sunday at .500.
Per Schefter, multiple contenders are expected to be interested in Beckham and players of certain organizations have already reached out.

Prior to the trade deadline, the Browns were reportedly in discussions with the New Orleans Saints regarding Beckham, but the Saints would need to find a way to create more cap space in order to fit his contract — a main reason why a deal never transpired.
If Beckham clears waivers on Tuesday, he will likely have a deal in place with a team at some point next week, according to Schefter.
Beckham has underwhelmed ever since he was traded from the New York Giants to the Cleveland Browns in 2018.
While the receiver is coming off a torn ACL injury from last year, he has just 17 catches for 232 yards and no touchdowns.
Beckham’s father posted a video on Instagram putting the blame on Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield, showing clips of Beckham open and not getting the ball.
The Browns informed Beckham not to attend practice the remainder of the week and the two sides worked on a restructured contract and negotiated his exit.
Mayfield was reportedly “thrown off” by Beckham and his father’s actions as the two apparently have a good relationship, although that chemistry has not appeared to translate on the field.
