The head coach of the Saints was back at practice along with the team’s all-pro defensive end. Sean Payton worked remotely on Wednesday due to a non-COVID related illness, while Cam Jordan has returned to the field after missing his first game since getting drafted in 2011 after testing positive for the coronavirus. Running back Mark Ingram is the only Saints player left on the NFL’s reserve/COVID list.

Not practicing were offensive tackles Ryan Ramczyk (knee) and Terron Armstead (knee), along with linebacker Kaden Ellis (hamstring) and TE Garrett Griffin (hamstring).

WR Lil’Jordan Humphrey has been upgraded to limited after not practicing Wednesday with a hamstring issue. LB Pete Werner (elbow) and DE Marcus Davenport (shoulder) also remained limited, while safety CJ Gardner-Jonson (toe) was elevated to a full-go.
