Have you heard? Mark Ingram is back with the Saints, and it didn't take long for him to get involved.

Ingram joined the team for Friday's practice. Two days later he was introduced with the starter to a thunderous cheer from the Caesars Superdome crowd for a Halloween showdown against the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Ingram said on Friday it'd be an honor if he was asked to lead the Who Dat chant prior to the game, and that's exactly what happened. The crowd appreciated that as well.

But what they appreciated the most was his impact on the team's second drive of the game. He didn't touch the ball on the opening series, but that changed with the Saints trailing 7-0 midway through the first quarter. Ingram caught a screen and navigated his way for an 18-yard gain. On the next play he leaked across the formation and Winston found him for 7 yards. That drive eventually landed in the end zone, with quarterback Jameis Winston finding Tre'Quan Smith for the touchdown to knot the score.
