The threat of strong storms and flooding rain on Sunday is forcing New Orleans city leaders to allow residents to move their cars to higher ground.
According to NOLA Ready, neutral ground parking is in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday. Drivers who utilize the neutral ground for parking are reminded not to block intersections, street car tracks, sidewalks, or bike paths.
Sunday's storms are expected to bring more than two inches of rain to parts of the city of New Orleans.
