PATERSON, N.J. (1010 WINS) — One man was killed and six others were injured after a series of weekend shootings in New Jersey, officials said.
According to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, the most recent shooting occurred Sunday night, where 34-year-old Wahneem Combs was found wounded in a city home.
Officials pronounced Combs at the scene a short time later.
At least 13 people were shot overall over the weekend, including another fatality in Paterson, according to authorities.
Police continue to investigate the motives for the recent shootings but believe they may be gang-related.
It is unclear if any of the incidents are connected.
