NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 37-year-old man was killed and a 22-year-old woman remains in critical condition after a fire ripped through a Brooklyn apartment early Wednesday morning.
EMS transported both victims to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where the man was pronounced dead.
The woman remains in critical condition after sufferering from smoke inhalation.
The FDNY Fire Marshal will determine the cause of the fire abd the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
An investigation is ongoing.
