NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Six people were shot hours apart overnight in the Bronx, police said.Around 2:05 a.m. three people were shot, one fatally, in an apparent drive-by that occurred on East 179th Street in East Tremont, officials said. According to police, a 60-year-old man was shot in the torso.
The man was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Two others, ages 36 and 54, were wounded and taken to the hospital in stable condition, authorities said.There were two shots fired from a vehicle, which fled the scene ABC-7 reports.
At approximately 1:55 a.m., a double shooting happened outside of 1210 Gilbert Place in Hunts Point.
Police said a 28-year-old man was shot in the chest and arm and a 22-year-old woman was shot in the knee and back.
The victims were taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition and are described as uncooperative.

Hours later a second shooting happened in East Tremont at around 4:20 a.m., that killed a 44-year-old man.
The victim was fatally shot in the back of the head in front of 4235 Park Avenue.
Officials said the man appeared to be targeted.
He was transported via private means to Saint Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
