NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two people were hurt Friday in Bath Beach, Brooklyn after a car plowed into a building.
This happened just after 2 p.m. near Bay 34th Street and 86th Street.
A man and a woman are hospitalized after a truck jumped the curb.
Police say the truck struck the man, then went through a store front, and then the driver backed up and hit the woman.
The male victim was taken to Coney Island Hospital in serious condition.
The woman, with a head injury, is at Maimonides Hospital.
She’s expected to survive.
The 63-year-old man at the wheel of the truck is in custody.
