SECAUCUS, N.J. (1010 WINS) — About 12 people were injured after two NJ Transit buses collided near the Lincoln Tunnel Monday morning, causing traffic delays, according to officials.
At approximately 7:30 a.m., Bus 139, originating from Lakewood, rear-ended Bus 1113, originating from Dunellon, according to a spokesperson for NJ Transit.

The collision between the two buses prompted a closed ramp on the Turnpike off-ramp to Route 495 East in Secaucus,
The victims included the drivers of both buses suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to area hospitals.
Both buses experienced extensive damage and had to be towed, the spokesperson added.
Traffic delays in the area are expected.
