NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two NYPD officers are recovering after their SUV flipped in Brooklyn on Saturday.
Police say the officers were heading to a call about a man with a knife when they got into a crash with another car just after 8 p.m. at Utica Avenue and Avenue L in the Flatlands.
The NYPD vehicle rolled over in the crash. Citizen App video from the scene shows the overturned SUV in an intersection and surrounded by police tape.
The driver of the other car also suffered minor injuries. All three of them were taken to Kings County Hospital.
The driver had a suspended license, according to police. It’s unclear if he or she was charged.
