2 teens shot in at least 5 overnight shootings across NYC

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two teens were shot in at least five overnight shooting incidents across New York City, police confirm.

There were 15 shooting incidents with 17 victims, across New York City on Sunday an uptick in gun violence continues, according to officials.

Around 11:45 p.m., an unidentified man was shot in the torso and in the arm in the Bronx.

Gunfire erupted at approximately 11:45 p.m., in front at 617 E 179th Street in the Crotona section, police said.The man was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

Earlier in Brooklyn,  a 55-year-old man was shot in the leg, according to officials.

The incident occurred at around 10:15 p.m., in the Weeksville section.

He was taken to Kings County in stable condition.

Two men were shot in Brownsville, according to police. 

The shooting happened around midnight on Dumont and Bristol Street, officials said. 

One victim was shot in the arm and another in the leg. 

Both men were transported to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.

First responders were at the scene at 550 E 21st Street in Flatbush around 12:40 a.m. after a teen boy and a woman were reportedly shot.EMS transported a 16-year-old boy to Maimonides Medical Center after police said he was shot in the right arm.
