NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD released surveillance footage Tuesday of a woman wanted for ripping a necklace off of a 91-year-old man outside his Queens home last week.
It happened at about 12:41 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15 in the vicinity of 84th Street and Dry Harbor Road in Middle Village, officials said.
According to police, the victim was in front of his residence when he was approached by the woman who engaged him in a conversation. As the victim turned around to enter his home, the woman snatched the victim's necklace from his neck and fled in a white SUV, traveling eastbound on Dry Harbor Road. The victim's necklace is valued at approximately $2,000.

The woman was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, multi-colored skirt, and white sneakers.
