NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Three people have died and a fourth has been hospitalized after a multi-car crash on Interstate 80 in New Jersey early Friday morning, according to authorities.
At least two cars crashed into one another at about 1:45 a.m. in the eastbound express lanes of I-80 in Parsippany-Troy Hills, say New Jersey State Police.
Two vehicles caught fire, one on its side and almost completely incinerated.
The status of the hospitalized victim is unknown.
The crash is currently being investigated by New Jersey State Police.
The victims' names have not been released.
