NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Three people were injured last week in separate drive-by paintball attacks, officials said on Wednesday.
Three attacks in Mid Island on Sept. 25 beginning at about 9:40 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m., according to police.
Authorities released a surveillance video of the first incident where a 37-year-old man was repeatedly struck by paintball pellets fired from a moving vehicle in front of 254 Lander Avenue.
About 10 minutes later, a 56-year-old man was struck by several paintball pellets fired from a moving vehicle in front of 1376 Forest Avenue, police said.
At approximately 10 p.m., officials said a 32-year-old woman was walking around Richmond Avenue and Lamberts Lane when she was struck by several paintball pellets also fired from a vehicle.
Police describe the vehicle as a gray sedan.
All three victims suffered pain but refused medical attention.
An investigation is ongoing.
