NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Governor Andrew Cuomo on Tuesday announced four additional states—Delaware, Maryland, Ohio, and West Virginia—meet the metrics to qualify for the state's COVID-19 travel advisory.
The advisory requires individuals who have traveled to New York from areas with significant community spread to quarantine for 14 days.
The quarantine applies to any person arriving from an area with a positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents over a 7-day rolling average or an area with a 10 percent or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average.
Two territories - Puerto Rico and the U.S Virgin Islands were removed from the list, bringing the total number states and jurisdictions to 35 including:

Earlier, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced that sheriff deputies would begin stopping buses headed to Port Authority from viral U.S. hotspots as part of New York City's continued effort to stop travel-related upticks in virus cases.
Riders will be given contact forms to fill out with their information and quarantine plans.
