NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Six people were injured, one of them seriously following an acid spill at a 21-story building on the Upper East Side says the FDNY.
According to reports, the FDNY received a call at approximately 9:30 a.m. regarding the spill of hydrochloric acid at the Yorkshire Towers on East 86th Street.

The acid was somehow connected to a pool at the building, but it wasn't clear if the spill was in the water or the surrounding area or else NBC4 reports.
Officials report that five firefighters sustained injuries and one civilian was critically injured and the only patient taken to a hospital.
